Travel Oncology RN - $1,952 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a 13‑week assignment in Toledo, Ohio, starting November 2, 2026. The position is for an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) working 36 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts. Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, usually focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal manage their disease and treatment effectively, including administering chemotherapy.
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and particularities of the disease.
• Administer chemotherapy, implement new methods of symptom treatment, and monitor patient progress.
• Create a supportive environment for patients and families.
• May opt to specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care oncology setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
