Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of a physician.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient treatment plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance during treatment sessions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding radiation therapy.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Massachusetts.
- Experience in oncology radiation therapy preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
