Travel Oncology Acute Registered Nurse - $2,414 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for an assignment in Peoria, Illinois.

About the Role

This is a travel nursing position lasting 26 weeks, scheduled to start on August 17, 2026. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens, including proper handling precautions (PPE) and monitoring for medication side effects.
• Manage care for patients with various cancer diagnoses, including Lymphoma, Leukemia, Hematology, medical patients, radiation oncology patients, and Gyn/Onc.
• Document patient care using EPIC Beacon EMR system.

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
• Experience with IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration.
• Negative drug screen for all panels.
• BSN is not required.

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during an assignment.

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
