Travel Oncology Registered Nurse - $2,394 per week
About the role
Oncology Unit at large Maine Hospital is seeking a traveling RN for day/night shift. The position is for an 13 week contract starting ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare team members.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maine.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in oncology nursing preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Knowledge of oncology nursing practices and protocols.
