Responsibilities
- Implementing treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve daily living skills.
- Assisting with therapeutic activities, exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress to support treatment adjustments.
- Educating patients and families on techniques to enhance independence.
- Maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, facility, and professional standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Current BLS certification, NBCOT (COTA) certification, and state licensure.
- Knowledge of anatomy, motor function, and occupational therapy principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to lift and assist patients safely.
Schedule
Travel employment, 35 hours per week, dayshift.
