About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a skilled nursing facility in Lancaster, California.
Responsibilities
- Work in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a physician
- Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve patient function
- Document patient progress using NetHealth and PointClickCare EMR/charting systems
- Participate in weekend coverage as needed
Requirements
- Active CA OT license required if applicable
- NBCOT certification required
- BLS certification required, AHA certified
- Minimum 1 year of SNF experience, or new graduates with clinical SNF experience welcome
- No acrylic nails, head coverings (unless religious), crocs, or open-toed shoes permitted
Qualifications
- New grads with SNF clinical experience welcome
- No specific scrub color required

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
