Travel Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics - $2,440 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Willmar, Minnesota. The position requires 40 hours per week, working 10‑hour day shifts. As an Occupational Therapist you will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and help disabled, ill or injured individuals regain daily living skills in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe them performing tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities.
• Assist patients with disabilities to perform various tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's home or workplace and recommend improvements based on health needs.
• Educate family and employers on accommodation and care.
• Recommend special equipment and instruct patients on its use.
• Assess and record patient activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of occupational therapy experience; 1 year preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply).
• Current BLS certification and NBCOT‑OTR national certification with appropriate state license.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.
