Travel Occupational Therapist, Inpatient Rehabilitation - $1,918 per week

About the role

Join a brand new 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, equipped with the latest therapy equipment. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide 1:1 therapy, ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patient mobility and function.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation goals and exercises.

Requirements

• Current Florida Physical Therapist License.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in acute care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or inpatient rehab unit.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Efficient time management practices.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using rehabilitation equipment and technology.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 5 days/week.
