Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

About the role

Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for evaluating and developing personalized care plans for patients with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' medical history, observe tasks, and evaluate their conditions and needs.
• Develop treatment plans with specific goals and activity types to aid patient recovery.
• Assist patients in performing daily tasks, identify environmental improvements, and recommend adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients' families and employers on care and accommodation strategies.
• Document patient progress and activities accurately for evaluations, billing, and communication with healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Current NBCOT-OTR certification, state licensure, and BLS certification.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.

Schedule

8-hour day shifts.
