About the Role
The Occupational Therapist will work in an inpatient rehab setting in Walterboro, SC, focusing on providing one-on-one patient care. This 13-week contract position requires flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Schedule
7:00 AM - 4:30 PM with flexible scheduling options: Monday-Friday (5 x 8-hour days) or (4 x 10-hour days). Requires working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, SLPs, PTAs, COTAs, and RNs.
- Document patient progress using the Meditech documentation system.
- Maintain a flexible and adaptable approach to patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy preferred.
- Basic Occupational Therapy skills as an independent clinician required.
- Inpatient rehab and acute care experience preferred but not required.
