Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - $2,242 per week
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Acute Care assignment at Delta Health – The Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi.
About the role
This 13-week travel contract offers an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to gain or continue building hospital-based experience. First-time travelers are welcome, and the facility requires a minimum of one year of OT experience.
- Inpatient Acute Care hospital setting
- 13-week travel contract
- Monday–Friday schedule, 5x8-hour day shifts (40 hours per week)
- Work alongside an interdisciplinary hospital team
Responsibilities
- Evaluate hospitalized patients and establish individualized plans of care
- Assess ADLs, functional mobility, strength, cognition, and safety
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve independence with daily activities
- Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for the appropriate next level of care
- Provide patient and caregiver education
- Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, case management, and other members of the hospital team
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Mississippi OT license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with medically complex patients
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
