Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - $2,193 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in North Chesterfield, Virginia. This position requires 40 hours per week, with 10-hour day shifts. The role is ideal for an OT with at least 6 months of experience, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe tasks to evaluate conditions and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, identifying goals and activities to help patients regain daily living skills.
• Assist patients with disabilities in performing tasks and recommend adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate patients' homes or workplaces and suggest modifications based on health needs.
• Educate families and employers on accommodating and caring for patients.
• Instruct patients on using special equipment and assess their progress.
• Provide timely, accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines.
• Record patient activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply).
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required for specific assignments.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined).
