Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - $2,218 per week

About the role

The Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) will provide rehabilitation services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit. The position requires floating between various units, including the clinical decision unit, ICU, telemetry, med-surg, and the emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans for patients requiring rehabilitation.
• Implement therapy interventions for diverse patient populations, including adults and geriatrics.
• Support patient mobility and adaptive equipment training, specifically in prosthetics and rehabilitation processes.
• Document and chart patient progress using the Epic system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license.
• Proficient in using the Epic charting system.
• Experience with adaptive skills and working with patients with disabilities, including amputees and those with neurological disorders.

Pay & Schedule

The Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
