American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week inpatient rehabilitation assignment in Waco, Texas. The role requires one weekend shift per month in a 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. No on-call requirements.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation setting with a 15-bed unit
• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 5x8hrs per week
• Required to work one weekend per month
• 13-week contract
• Local candidates are welcome to apply; however, candidates living within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, and cognitive deficits in an inpatient rehab setting
• Design and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient progress
• Educate patients and families

Requirements

• Current, active OT license (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Current BLS certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Two professional references
• Social Security Number and a valid US home address
