Travel Occupational Therapist Inpatient - $2,395 per week

Travel Occupational Therapist position in Ottumwa, Iowa. Inpatient role supporting geriatric and adult patients with evaluations and treatments aligned with clinical standards.

About the role

This position involves working on the inpatient unit, floating between the acuity recovery unit (ARU) and medical-surgical (MS) to cover evaluations and treatments as needed. The ARU has 13 beds and the MS has 24 beds. Compliance with clinical dress code is required (scrubs in any color; pajamas or torn clothing prohibited).

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for inpatient geriatric and adult patients.
• Float between acuity recovery unit (ARU) and medical-surgical (MS) units as needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy school.
• Licensed in the state of Iowa.
• 0-1 years of experience.
• Flexibility to float between units as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in inpatient or geriatric settings.

Schedule

• Day shift, 8 hours per day.
• 40 hours per week.
• 13-week assignment starting 08/17/2026.
