Travel Occupational Therapist Inpatient - $2,380 per week

Job Summary

The role involves providing therapeutic services within an inpatient acute care hospital setting, treating patients across diverse populations including cardiopulmonary, neurological, orthopedic, trauma, surgical, and oncology.

Job Details

• Schedule: Work Monday through Friday, 0700-1530 (start time may be flexible up to 0800). Includes working one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) during every four-week period, resulting in a day off during that week.

Required Qualifications

• Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), state license as an Occupational Therapist, and at least 1 year of acute care experience; experience with adult and geriatrics patient populations preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system and trauma level I or II experience are advantageous.

Additional Information

• The role requires establishing treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare team members, delegating tasks, and completing documentation according to departmental policies.
• Equipment used includes vital carts, electronic interpretation devices, and ADL supplies.

Certification and Licensing

• A valid state license required at the time of submittal; pending license accepted.
• No local candidates within a 75-mile radius accepted; travel experience not required.

Compliance and Policy Notes

• No more than 7 days of planned leave (ROTs) per 13-week contract; contract start date is 08/31/2026.
• All certifications such as ACLS are required per location policy.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
