Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Lakeview, Oregon.

Job Summary

Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in the specified location. This position involves evaluating, selecting, performing, and/or directing assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational activities aimed at restoring maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients upon physician referral. The occupational therapist collaborates with family members and health care team members regarding patients' abilities and goals, providing essential rehabilitative support in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, select, perform, and/or direct assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational activities aimed at restoring maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients upon physician referral
  • Collaborate with family members and health care team members regarding patients' abilities and goals
  • Provide essential rehabilitative support in an inpatient setting

Schedule

Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Duration: 13 weeks. Start date: 08/31/2026, end date: 11/30/2026.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an American Occupational Therapy Association-accredited college or university
  • Eligible for licensure or currently licensed in Oregon
  • Current valid Oregon drivers license
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of occupational therapy related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures, general medicine, surgical and mental health concepts
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Understanding the principles of a team approach and recognizing the capabilities and limitations of other team members
