About the role
The School Occupational Therapist will provide therapeutic services in a school setting, focusing on improving students' functional abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapy sessions to enhance motor skills, cognitive function, and social interaction
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- New graduates encouraged to apply
Qualifications
- Current state licensure in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and interventions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
