American Traveler is seeking an experienced Home Health Occupational Therapist to support an EMR transition and serve as a preceptor during system go-live in Gearhart, Oregon.

Assignment overview

• Shift: Days, 5x8hrs, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Hours: 40 hrs/wk
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Length: 6 weeks
• Openings: 1

Setting & schedule

• Home health setting supporting Providence at Home with Compassus Home Health locations
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday for the duration of this short-term contract
• Three weeks of HCHB PointCare training followed by three weeks of on-site go-live support
• Training schedule includes in-person sessions Tuesday through Thursday and virtual sessions Monday and Friday
• Role involves precepting and providing real-time guidance to travelers and staff during EMR go-live
• Minimal bedside care expected outside of potential ride-along support during implementation

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience required
• Oregon OT license required if applicable; license pending is acceptable
• HCHB PointCare or mobile app experience preferred
• Comfortable using technology and supporting others in a training or mentorship capacity
