About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Home Health Occupational Therapist for a position serving West Portland, OR and surrounding areas. The role involves a day‑shift schedule (5×8‑hour shifts, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM), a 1:1 patient ratio with up to six visits per day, and a standard of 30 productivity points daily. Charting is performed using Home Care Home Base, Remote Client, Rover app, and OASIS. There are no weekend, on‑call, or floating requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a home health setting.
  • Conduct up to six patient visits per day while maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio.
  • Achieve the daily productivity target of 30 points.
  • Document patient care using Home Care Home Base, Remote Client, Rover app, and OASIS.
  • Adhere to the scheduled day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday).
  • Follow COVID‑19 vaccination requirements (primary series plus booster).
  • Maintain business‑casual attire (scrubs optional, jeans not permitted).
  • Use reliable personal transportation for travel up to 60 miles per day as needed.

Requirements

  • Current OT license (Oregon state license required if applicable).
  • Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience.
  • BLS certification.
  • OASIS experience.
  • Reliable personal transportation.

Skills

  • Proficiency with OASIS documentation.
  • Experience using Home Care Home Base, Remote Client, and Rover apps.
  • Strong time‑management and productivity skills.
  • Ability to work independently in home‑health environments.
  • Effective communication and patient‑education abilities.

Pay
