About the role

Travel Home Health Occupational Therapist assignment in Oakland, California, covering Alameda County. The position is a 13‑week travel contract with a full‑time schedule of 40 hours per week (5 days × 8 hour day shifts).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize start‑of‑care visits and report them the next day.
• Complete clinical notes and documentation within 48 hours of each visit using Kinnser EMR.
• Maintain consistent communication with supervisor, intake, and office staff; be responsive during normal business hours.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed.
• Complete three days of training (one in‑house day and two field days).
• Meet productivity requirements based on a points system tied to visit type and weekly caseload.

Requirements

• Current, active California Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum 1 year of home health occupational therapy experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
