Travel Occupational Therapist Home Health - $2,561 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy services in patients' homes across Springfield, South Charleston, and North Lewisburg, Ohio. The assignment is a 13‑week travel position starting on October 5, 2026, with a full‑time schedule of 40 hours per week (8‑hour day shifts, Monday‑Friday).

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services in patients' homes.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and document care using the HomeCare HomeBase charting system (preferred).
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and co‑workers.
• Prioritize and manage time efficiently while maintaining a detail‑oriented, disciplined work ethic.
• Apply sound clinical judgment and stay current with therapy best practices.

Requirements

• Current, active Ohio OT license (required).
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an OT in an acute care setting.
• Home care experience desired.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with the candidate listed as the driver.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and co‑workers.
• Ability to assess situations and implement appropriate solutions.

Additional Information

• HomeCare HomeBase charting system experience is preferred but not required.
• Shift: Days, 5 × 8 hrs (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

Schedule

Monday‑Friday day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week).

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
