Travel Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy - $2,281 per week

Travel Clinic Occupational Therapist (Outpatient Occupational Therapist specializing in hand therapy) in Portland, Oregon. Start date: October 26, 2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, day shift (5×8 hours, Monday–Friday). Employment type: travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, assessments, reassessments, discharge planning, and plan of care documentation.
• Utilize modalities including electrical stimulation, paraffin bath, ultrasound, and splinting techniques.
• Fabricate functional and static splints using materials such as Orthoplast.
• Provide patient and family education as part of the treatment plan.

Requirements

• Active OT license (if applicable).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hand therapy.
• BLS certification required.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Expertise in custom splinting required.
• Experience with complex hand trauma and surgeries required.
• No new graduates considered.

Qualifications

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred.
• First‑time travelers will be considered.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
• Returning staff must have a gap of at least 6 months since their last assignment to be eligible.
• Requested time off must be submitted upfront and should not exceed 2 weeks.

Skills

Pay
