About the role

Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) responsible for supporting patient recovery and daily living skills under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans through therapeutic activities and interventions. Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations to the supervising OT. Support patients with exercises, mobility training, and adaptive equipment use. Educate patients and families on techniques to enhance independence. Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care. Adhere to state licensing, facility, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Current BLS certification
• NBCOT (COTA) certification
• State-specific licensure
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of anatomy and motor functions
• Ability to safely assist patients
