About the role

Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) providing therapy services under supervision to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic activities
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Assist with exercises and mobility training
• Educate patients and families
• Maintain treatment areas
• Collaborate with healthcare team
• Ensure compliance with licensing and safety standards
• Support patient independence and recovery
• Document care accurately and promptly
• Assist in patient therapy under OT supervision

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an OTA
• Current BLS certification
• State licensure
• NBCOT (COTA) certification
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of anatomy and occupational therapy principles
• Ability to lift and assist patients safely
