Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant - $1,015 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) for a 13-week assignment in Lebanon, Ohio. The position requires 1 year of experience and offers a 32-hour per week shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
• Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.

Requirements

• BLS
• NBCOT (COTA)
• 2 Years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant

The ideal candidate must also hold a current BLS and COTA National certification. State-specific licensure is required. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and assist patients safely.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess a solid understanding of anatomy, motor function, and occupational therapy principles.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 32 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
