American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation unit in Anchorage, Alaska.
About the Role
This is a 13-week travel assignment with a start date of August 3, 2026. The role is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift. There are 2 openings available.
- Rehabilitation Services unit within a 175-bed inpatient acute care hospital
- Interdisciplinary therapy team of 60 providers including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
- Schedule includes 4x10-hour days or an 8/5 rotating schedule, including weekends
- Shift options: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Weekend rotation required, approximately 2–3 weekends per month (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Daily patient ratio of 8–10 patients
- EMR system: Epic
- No on-call requirements
- Scrub color: olive/light green
- No local candidates accepted (50-mile radius rule applies)
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in an acute care inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team
Requirements
- 2+ years of clinical experience required
- Acute care experience required
- OT certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Alaska state fingerprint and background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to starting
- Independent personality fit preferred

Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
