About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our rehab services team in an inpatient acute care facility in Anchorage, AK. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, assisting individuals in overcoming challenges resulting from injury, illness, or disability.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 10-hour shifts, days
- 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts or 8-hour shifts with a rotating schedule including weekends
- Shift times: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to patient needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and speech-language pathologists
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR EPIC
- Participate in patient care meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- OT Certification is required
- Acute care experience is essential
