About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Work in an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting
- Provide therapy services to patients with various conditions
- Manage a typical caseload of 6–7 patients per day
- Occasionally cover Saturdays for half-days
Requirements
- Current, active OT license required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
- Two professional references required
- Valid driver’s license and Social Security card required
Qualifications
- Reside more than 35 miles from the facility
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
