About the role
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 20, 2026, in Ashland, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care hospital setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to improve functional abilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in Alabama.
- At least one year of recent relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the national certification exam.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and interventions.
- Experience with patient assessment tools and standardized tests.
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet individual patient needs.
- Good organizational skills to manage patient files and schedules.
Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The exact pay details will be confirmed upon hire.
Schedule
Shifts are 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
