About the role
Travel Nurses, Inc. is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 22, 2026, at an acute care hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Louisiana.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in computer software relevant to occupational therapy.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
