Travel Occupational Therapist - Acute Care - $2,886 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital setting in Urbana, IL.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all ages across a broad range of conditions
• Designs and adjusts individualized plans of care incorporating goals, interventions, outcomes, and discharge planning
• Performs patient screenings and examinations using reliable, evidence-based methods
• Utilizes standardized outcomes measures to accurately reflect functional patient performance
• Provides education and training to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers
• Supervises COTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary medical team to communicate patient status, transfer recommendations, and discharge disposition

Requirements

• Active Illinois OT license required; temp license accepted if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM day shift schedule. One weekend shift required per month, no holiday shifts required, no floating requirements.
