Travel Occupational Therapist - Acute Care - $2,232 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 12-week assignment in O Fallon, Missouri. This full-time position requires 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe tasks to evaluate conditions and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with specific goals and therapeutic activities.
• Assist patients with various disabilities in performing daily tasks.
• Evaluate patients' homes or workplaces and recommend modifications for health needs.
• Educate families and employers on patient care and accommodations.
• Recommend and instruct on the use of special equipment.
• Assess and document patient progress for evaluations, billing, and healthcare provider reporting.
• Provide timely, accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications (e.g., ARRT, CCI) may be required for specific assignments.
