About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment at a Magnet hospital in Salem, Oregon. The position starts on September 14, 2026, and works 36 hours per week, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in acute care settings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Valid professional license or registration as required by this state
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required
  • Professional references

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Oregon
  • Experience in acute care settings preferred

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours, days, 3x per week.
