Travel Occupational Therapist - Acute Care - $1,604 per week
About the Role
Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract in Carbondale, Illinois, starting ASAP. This role is in an acute care setting, offering 36 hours per week with 4-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Help patients regain and maintain skills needed for independent living and work.
- Provide OT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines.
- Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and other caregivers.
- Delegate and supervise occupational therapist assistants as needed.
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Illinois.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel.
Qualifications
Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Illinois and BLS certification are required. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist and strong communication skills.
Pay
$1,440 - $1,604 per week.
Schedule
36 hours per week with 4-hour shifts.
