Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,787 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy unit. The assignment involves day shifts (5×8‑hour shifts, Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with weekend coverage as needed and no on‑call requirements. Epic EMR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient conditions according to physician orders and current standards of practice
• Provide direct treatment interventions based on established plans of care
• Educate and train patients and caregivers
• Accept caseload assignments and productivity standards from Director or Team Lead
• May supervise and train students, COTAs, and Aides
• Participate in quality improvement processes and clinical meetings
• Document patient status through written chart notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries
• Maintain strong interdisciplinary team relationships
• Record daily charges per department billing guidelines
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated for at least one year before eligibility for this travel assignment

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Minimum 1 year
