About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a position in Danbury, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient setting focusing on neuro, orthopedic, and general outpatient cases.
- Work within varying department hours Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Occasional evening shifts on Tuesday and Thursday, with no weekend work.
- Use LSVT and MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) as part of treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current CT OT license.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting.
- Experience with neuro conditions preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Connecticut.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least 1 year of experience working in an outpatient setting.
- Prior experience with LSVT and/or MoCA is preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of LSVT and MoCA.
- Ability to work in various shift patterns including evenings and weekends (occasionally).
- Outpatient OT experience, particularly in neuro, orthopedic, and general outpatient settings.
