About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week position starting on August 3, 2026, in Springfield, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Screens, evaluates, treats, and discharges patients in various clinical settings including inpatient, Long Term Care, Alzheimer’s, Home Health, and outpatient settings.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Complies with state and federal regulations and provides necessary billing documentation.
- Communicates with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and families regarding treatment plans and patient responses.
- Counsels patients and their families based on their level of disability or impairment.
- Maintains thorough and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings to stay updated on best practices.
- Maintains compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards related to safety, environmental management, and infection control.
- Attends meetings and in-service sessions as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Colorado.
- Experience in rehabilitation therapy, particularly in Long Term Care, Home Health, Outpatient, and Inpatient settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
