About the role

LanceSoft is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week position starting on August 3, 2026, in Springfield, Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Screens, evaluates, treats, and discharges patients in various clinical settings including inpatient, Long Term Care, Alzheimer’s, Home Health, and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Complies with state and federal regulations and provides necessary billing documentation.
  • Communicates with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and families regarding treatment plans and patient responses.
  • Counsels patients and their families based on their level of disability or impairment.
  • Maintains thorough and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings to stay updated on best practices.
  • Maintains compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards related to safety, environmental management, and infection control.
  • Attends meetings and in-service sessions as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Colorado.
  • Experience in rehabilitation therapy, particularly in Long Term Care, Home Health, Outpatient, and Inpatient settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

  • Proficiency in computer software, particularly EHR systems.

Pay

The pay rate for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
