Travel Occupational Therapist position in Topeka, Kansas at a Level II Trauma Center acute care hospital. Start date: October 26, 2026. Duration: 26 weeks. Employment type: Travel. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to a diverse patient population including orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, respiratory, trauma, surgical, ICU, and joint replacement cases.
• Manage approximately 7–8 patients per shift.
• Perform transfers involving lines and drains.
• Utilize Epic EMR (preferred but not required).

Requirements

• Active Kansas occupational therapy license.
• NBCOT certification.
• Acute care hospital experience with medically complex patients.

Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system (preferred).
• Strong clinical skills in acute care settings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule

Typical schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday (40 hours per week). No call or weekend requirements.
