Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,487 per week
About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time position involves 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe tasks to evaluate conditions and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with specific goals and activities to help patients regain daily living skills.
- Assist patients with various disabilities in performing tasks.
- Evaluate patients' homes or workplaces and recommend improvements based on health needs.
- Educate patients' families and employers on accommodations and care strategies.
- Recommend and instruct patients on the use of special equipment.
- Assess and record patient progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to healthcare providers.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
- BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
