About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an acute inpatient setting.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care coordination.
- Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Experience in acute inpatient settings preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passport required for international travel.
Skills
