MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a quality Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including evaluating medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance.
• Develop a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school.
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and passed the NBCOT exam.
• Minimum one year of professional working experience.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or actively in the process of obtaining one.
• Current CPR certification.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
