Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,370 per week
About the role
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position based in the inpatient setting within the healthcare organization. The role involves evaluating, planning, and administering occupational therapy treatments in accordance with physician referrals, departmental policies, and regulatory standards. The occupational therapist demonstrates clinical competence to provide age-appropriate treatment and collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and limitations
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Document patient progress
- Initiate discharge planning
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to modify interventions as needed
- Provide ongoing education to patients, families, and staff
- Ensure care aligns with clinical standards and legal regulations
Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved educational program in occupational therapy
- Current occupational therapy license from the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Location in the inpatient setting
- Scheduled for days shift with 10-hour shifts
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
Related education and/or experience are considered beneficial but are not mandatory.

Additional Information
