Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,365 per week

Schedule

Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid current State license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient occupational therapy

Job Details

• Assesses patient's level of functioning upon physician orders
• Plans and implements appropriate treatment based on assessments
• Participates in discharge planning, including patient/family education and adaptive equipment recommendations
• Completes documentation according to department policies, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and students, and assists with new staff orientation
• Communicates effectively with patients and families, ensuring understanding and engagement
• Demonstrates safety awareness and proper safety techniques with patients and staff
• Attends team conferences, collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, and participates in quality improvement initiatives
• Ensures confidentiality and maintains professionalism in all interactions
• Exhibits flexibility in scheduling and prioritizing patient care responsibilities
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
