AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 1, 2026, in Canaan, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Assess patient functional abilities and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in Connecticut.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Pass a background check.
