About the role
Medlivo Therapy is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract position in Brooklyn Park, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to occupational therapy practice.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Active Occupational Therapist License.
- Current BLS/BCLS Certification.
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
- Spanish language skills a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s preferred) from an accredited program.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Cerner EMR.
- Fluency in Spanish (optional).
