About the role
Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist with Jackson Therapy Partners! We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, treat, and manage a caseload independently
- Work with high-acuity acute care patient populations including cardiac, cardiovascular, orthopedic/joint, trauma, and stroke patients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Comfortably work with students in a teaching facility
Shift hours are typically 0800-1630 and may vary based on departmental needs. Occasional weekend rotation based on department needs. No call. No floating between facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active State License is required to start the assignment
- BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC
- Current Alabama OT license
- At least 1 year of experience with familiarity and/or experience in acute care
