Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school
- Hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Passed the NBCOT exam
- Minimum one year of professional working experience
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist / OT or proactively in the process of applying for current state licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
Responsibilities
- Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including providing direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and rehabilitation potential
- Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on the patient’s capacity and tolerance
- Develop a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions
- Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient
