About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Wichita, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in an acute care setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and independence.
- Document patient progress and outcomes according to established protocols.
Requirements
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
- Every other weekend shift required.
- 6+ months current acute care inpatient OT experience.
- BLS certification.
- Kansas licensure.
- Nerve conduction study (NCS) or electromyography (EMG) certification/experience preferred.
- Experience with EMR - Meditech.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current active license to practice in Kansas.
- Current BLS certification.
- Preferred neuro certification/experience.
- Experience with EMR - Meditech.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in using EMR - Meditech.
