Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,162 per week

Thrive Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our home health team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patient functional abilities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in home health.
• Current California Occupational Therapist license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• A valid Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance are necessary.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number required.
• COTA with home health experience will be considered if no OT applicants are available.

Work Environment

This position involves an average of four patient visits per day, with a combination of evaluations and revisits. The coverage area includes northeastern Sacramento into Folsom and extends into Yolo County. Mileage will be reimbursed at the General Services Administration (GSA) rate with prior approval. The charting system utilized is Cerner.

Schedule

Shifts are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility to float as needed is required.
